Introduction



The allotment project introduces two new sites in the borough, North Moors and Woodside Road, and provides 113 new allotment plots across both locations.

The new plots at Woodside Road and the first phase of North Moors have been completed.

In April 2023, some of the allotment holders relocated from Bellfields Road Allotments to their new plots at Woodside Road and North Moors.

The transformation of overgrown land at Bellfields Road also created new plots at the retained area of Bellfields Road Allotments.  Any extra plots, across all three sites, will soon be available to people on the allotment waiting list.

Work at Bellfields Allotments has been completed

Project update - Woodside Road

Work at Woodside Road has been completed.

Project update - North Moors Phase 2

The first phase of work to North Moors has been completed. Some plots have been laid out and are being used by allotment holders.  Work to divert the existing footpath has also been done.

Great progress has been made on Phase 2 of the North Moors project. Key developments include:

• Plot marking, the remaining plots have been marked out. The plots are being prepared for allotment holders.
• The office, community buildings and welfare facilities have been installed.

Work at Bellfields Road and Woodside Road allotments has been completed.
