Why: To improve access to public transport from the new development and improve pedestrian safety. 

Project Details

Extending the existing bus lane

We will be extending the existing bus lane into the Phase 3 site. This extension will provide public transport connections for the new development.

New pedestrian crossing

We are introducing a new pedestrian crossing south of the Depot Junction to provide a safe crossing across Woking Road and a connection to the towpath.
